Online Shopping Tip
I have made numerous online purchases with no problems however, before I purchase an item online (or offline for that matter) I go to Amazon.com
and search for the item, then check to see if there have been any customer reviews. Amazon has a five star rating system with 5 stars being the best.
If the item has 4 or 5 stars and has several reviews, it is most likely a good product. Next, I read the lowest rated reviews first because these reviews may contain information that pertain to my current purchase. A lot of times a negative review will deal with an issue that will never pertain to my current purchase (like shipping time, out of stock, returned item, color, compatibility, etc.). I can throw these negative ratings out and adjust the star rating accordingly.
In any case, I take each review with a grain of salt because the author may have a hidden agenda but collectively, the customer reviews give me a good feeling of the quality of the product and vendor that I may soon be dealing with.
